| All you can really say in defence of his move is that he has stepped up a Division but thats unlikely to last too long. He developed well with us but it wasnt until last season when he was next to a powerful and experienced centre half, and part of a strong defensive unit with a midfield spoiler in front taking the pressure of them, that he really found consistency. It will be interesting to see just how much he has learned from that and how will he fare in what is likely to be a pretty torrid season for Stirling. Real sink or swim stuff for his career, truth is he really needed a full-time deal and full-time coaching at this stage. His agent came out and said as much and they both now look rather foolish that he ends up still part-time. |
