As I wasn't at Pollok or Oban I have not yet seen this guy play.
Are we going to be offering him a contract do we think?
Certainly has a decent pedigree and looks to be able to play in a number of positions, centre back, right back and centre midfield from what I have read.
Would seem an awful shame for the guy to spend a full pre-season with us to then be dumped!
Also I wonder if Jinky has done enough to win a contract, he has done ok in the games I have seen and would certainly be worth a year I think. I would pick him over Hugh Kerr, who is also still fighting for a deal. |

I have it on good authority that Gibson will sign with us if he does not get a full-time contract with anyone else.
Buzz Buzz a diddle it. |

| If he's properly fit he would be a good replacement for Scott Buist. Played the full 90 minutes against Pollock and looked a good player. Strong in the air, despite not being big, confident on the ball and experienced. My only concern apart from his fitness would be how quick he was. With Scott Walker our other centre back we need the other one to be quick - not sure how quick Billy is. Haing said that, as I've said before, if we can have a back four of McLune, Gibson, Walker, Dunlop and with Mark Brown sitting in front of them, that is a very strong unit. |

Excellent news. I assume at this stage that AM hasn't committed to any of Jinky, Sommerville etc. |

| Another very good signing, on past form he will be an excellent addition for us. The squad certainly looks a good bit stronger than last season. Hopefully Jinky is going to prove his fitness and get a deal and that should leave us looking strong all round. |
