Looked an entertaining game.

Cheers for this. Good work out for the finge players and some of the youngsters. Jason Thomson showing promise. Good also to see Ross Philp getting forward effectively.

Jinky's seems to have lost a yard of pace. Clearly he has been out for a while and can't be expected to get back the form he had immediately. I think also that the quality of player we have has increased significantly in the year and a half he has been out. So while he stood out before, even the old Jinky would maybe be just below the level of the players we have now.

It has been interesting also that Hugh Kerr has played in both of the recent friendlies and that young Jason Thomson has also featured on the wing in both of them, while Jinky hasn't featured at all.

Jinkys quality is not in question. He has had a horrendous time with 2 career threatning injuries. If jinky can get fit he will be a started in our team no question.

Yes we have better players now but to think he just stuck out in a sh*te team is complete p*sh. He is class and would enhance what we already have.

I don't think he stuck out just because the team was, relative to now, sh*te, but I do believe that is a factor in the high esteem he is held in generally by some, even most, Wasps fans.

He's a good player, of that there's no doubt, but I don't believe that even if fit he would be a certain starter in AM's first eleven.

Jinky's performance in his comeback match last season when he came off the bench at half time against Stenny and really put a spark into the team suggested he hadnt lost much. Perhaps he hasnt reached those heights pre-season but its a tricky situation being on trial and having to prove yourself all over again. If his ankle can stand up to regular football he is well worth a contract, even a deal to christmas to see how things go. He would offer something different to the squad and is a different kind of player to Scott.

Good to see those highlights and great strike from Thomson.

Really pleased for him. He's done great to come back from those horrendous injuries.

Echo those sentiments. Well done Jinky and fingers crossed he can have an injury free season and get back playing to the same levels he did earlier in his Alloa career.
