Why change it? That's me saved £30 then, as I wont be buying a top with that on it. I could understand it if it was for the youth teams, or even drawn by them, but it's just a tad cr*p.

What I want to know is who came up with this and where does he keep the guide dog.
If they were going to change it at least they could have consulted with the fans. Maybe put the proposed design on the website and asked for thoughts via email.
The only saving grace will be if it is very small on the top.
I take it the club have paid a licence fee for that graphic as it has been available online for years... hope they haven't just nicked it... I agree looks very amateurish....I think it's also supposed to be a hornet... not a Wasp...
The image of the new crest was initially designed by someone within the club, so it certainly wasnt nicked. It was not designed with the intention of it becoming the club crest- as everyone knows it's been around a while and used for various things.
