Agree that a point would be a decent result, a draw away from home at a promotion contender and with our injuries would be a good return.
That said it would be fantastic to go and get all three! Cowden are bound to be a bit low given their recent results and this could be a chance to deliver a real hammer blow to their title ambitions.
Similarly given something has to give in the Stirling - Brechin match its a good opportunity for us to move further ahead of other contenders.
There has been a fair bit of moaning from the Cowden fans on P&B the past few weeks so lets hope for more after Saturday. Mon the Wasps.
A win would be a terrific result- hate the ground and the vile element to their support. Never seen a support quite like Cowdens- every foul on their player is treated like an assassination, however slight, and no opposition player is even remotely permitted to actually contest a decision against their team. Even talking to the ref is a big no-no. Most clubs have a few fans like this but at Central Park it seems to be a far larger amount.
Having said that, the New Goth is great- a real "experience", filled with characters and a pound a half.
The way we are playing we can get a win here a big plus is mbu is back for them i rate him the one of the best in the div but will take any win at all there all cup finals now feb/march big big months for us we are the form team but someone is going to do us just hope its not this weekend
Not a bad thing with the game being off today, Hopefully we can get key players like Buisty back for the re-arranged game and go through and shaft them. Bomber also is struggling just now. Not a disaster the game being off today despite their poor form lately.
The re-arranged schedule will separate the men from the boys and hopefully we will show our class.
Incidently the last time Alloa won the second division title was in 1922. That season Alloa were first with the runners up being Cowdenbeath. That season Alloa also sold their star striker to Celtic...........spookey
